Zoo: Behind the Scenes
Learn about the many careers available in a zoo.  Emphasis will be placed on animal related professions.  A short classroom presentation will be followed by an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour that will focus on husbandry procedures, veterinary care, keeper adventures, and more.

Availability:
Any day of the year except weekdays in the month of May and mornings in June, July, & August.

Program Length:
1 hour 30 minutes

Minimum Number:
10 scouts (Minimum charge $100)
If you do not have 10 scouts, we suggest you combine with another troop in your area.

Maximum Number:
30 scouts
Adults permitted in the program: 4

Pricing*:
$10 per scout
Scout Leaders are No Charge
(Only Scout Leaders registered with your council are free)
*Includes Zoo admission. Feel free to tour the Zoo on your own before or after your program.

Pricing for Non-Scouts:
Pre-paid adults and siblings** visiting the Zoo on their own:
$7 per person (age 2 and over)

**May accompany the scouts before or after their program for a self-guided tour, but cannot attend the program. If you do not pre-pay for your extra people with your reservation, you must pay the regular admission rate at the gate.
