Special Needs Groups
The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium is proud to offer free admission for special needs facilities.
If your facility serves persons with developmental disabilities/mental retardation or persons who are physically challenged, please complete the Field Trip Reservation Form and send a letter on your letterhead to:

In your letter, please include the date of your Zoo visit, the number of people in your group (including chaperones), and a brief description of your group.
Please include a self-addressed envelope with your request. Allow three weeks for processing.
Upon receiving your letter, you will be sent a letter for free admission to the Zoo.
If your group will be visiting in the month of May, the Zoo recommends scheduling a Monday or Tuesday when the Zoo is least crowded.
