Director of Marketing and Public Relations
The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, a dynamic, fast-paced, get it done organization, is seeking a Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Don’t you want to be part of an organization that rescues elephants and orphaned sea otters, and is becoming the leader in sea lion reproduction? As our new director, you will promote, market and publicize these exciting stories and many others. This role will oversee marketing, public relations, media relations, advertising, group sales, special events, facility rentals and social media. You will supervise an exceptional team of five full-time staff, several part-time and seasonal staff, and interns.
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, 10 years of experience and a minimum of five years supervisory experience. Master’s degree is preferred. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
